The cleanliness seemed a bit lacking; perhaps it's the age of the building. While breakfast wasn't included, the shared kitchen came in handy for light meals. The staff were attentive, though communication was challenging due to language barriers. They did offer smooth check-in and were quite friendly. For travelers like myself, La Joya serves as a cost-effective choice, particularly for those prioritizing location over luxury. It's a decent option if you want a simple place to rest while enjoying the charm of Chefchaouen.
